Wesfarmer Arts Young Artists 2019/2020

Congratulations to the new Wesfarmers Arts Young Artists for 2019 and 2020. WAO looks forward to working with Sopranos Chelsea Burns and Brianna Louwen, mezzo-soprano Chelsea Kluga, baritones Matthew Dixon and Lachlann Lawton, pianist Adrian Soares and conductor Leanne Puttick through this initiative.

WAO's Music Director Chris van Tuinen auditioned dozens of singers during recent general audition rounds and held call-backs with successful candidates who were selected from a shortlist at auditions with Emma Matthews, Patron of the Wesfarmers Arts Young Artist Program and himself.

The program is designed as a mentoring experience where regular coachings, masterclasses and workshops will develop their skills and stage craft.

WAO looks forward to working closely with this incredibly talented group of young artists over the next year.
